Res-Q-Tow chooses OnScene Solutions towing software

C&M Res-Q-Tow
of Concord, ON has been serving the hauling and
commercial towing needs of the Greater Toronto Area for 6
years. They are one of South Western Ontario's largest
providers of heavy duty towing and recovery services with
over 700 active commercial accounts and a 12 truck
fleet.
Problem
Req-Q-Tow's main
concern was the scheduling of future calls with their
commercial accounts and the proper calculation of prices
based on services rendered. Their existing system did not
allow them to properly manage their dispatching needs and
pricing calls involved the manual look-up of contracted
agreements with customers. In additon, established
discounts with customers needed to be auto-calculated to
help with invoice accuracy.
Solutions
Res-Q-Tow decided on
the InTow Professional Edition with accounting
integration and InTow Messenger. Now as calls come into
the office, they are dated for the future. The calls then
appear on the dispatch window at a pre-determined time
prior to being active. Res-Q-Tow can then switch their
dispatch view to see activities scheduled for the next
day, allowing them to establish a work load for each
driver. As the calls then become active, the call details
are sent to the drivers communication device. As calls
are completed, the invoice is turned into the office and
contracted prices for each customer allows the system to
accurately calulate charges. All details are then moved
to their accounting system through the InTow
Synchronization wizard.

training, the dispatchers are now up to speed and the
entire process of running the business just got a whole
lot easier.
