Minimum Computer Requirements

The InTow Software Suite has been designed to run on, and take advantage of, features of the Microsoft® Windows™ XP, 2000 and 2003 operating systems, and therefore you must be running one of these Windows operating systems in order to install and run InTow Manager. These versions of the Microsoft Windows operating systems ensure stability in your system database as well as providing InTow Manager with a rich set of tools that it can take advantage of to provide you with a more effective and reliable software solution.
In today's computing environment, no towing company should install or use anything less than the latest in Microsoft technologies and operating systems. The family of Windows 95, 98 and ME operating systems were never meant to be run in an office environment and do not provide the necessary system stability to ensure the livelihoood of your towing operation. These operating systems were designed specifically for home use and do not provide the high level of reliability that exists in the Windows operating systems of today.
The recommended system configuration for the InTow Software Suite is a computer running Microsoft Windows XP Professional with a Pentium 4 processor and 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM. Below are the minimum system requirements your computer needs to run InTow Manager. Some components of the InTow Software Suite require additional features.

Additional Requirements

There are additional items or services required to run InTow Messenger, InTow GPS and InTow Connect on your computer.
Both of these components require the Microsoft .NET Framework™ be installed on the computer where your InTow Manager system database is installed.
